Day Program
Service Areas: Eastern Iowa, Central Iowa
The To The Rescue Iowa Day Program offers safe and supportive services for individuals who need assistance or supervision during the day. We help individuals with disabilities develop life skills that promote independence by supporting physical and emotional health, self-advocacy, socialization and community engagement. The programs are designed to meet the unique needs and interests of all participants and offer a variety of choices.
Our comprehensive program model allows caregivers to have peace of mind meeting their loved one’s needs while balancing their own responsibilities. In Eastern Iowa, our programs currently include Connect Club (ages 16-21), Adult Day Services (ages 18+), and Volunteer Opportunities. In Central Iowa, we provide Social Club.
Meet Mariah, Day Program Manager
Behind the ongoing success of To The Rescue Day Program is the dedicated, supportive leadership of Manager, Mariah. Overseeing To The Rescue Day Program, Mariah enjoys coaching and building a rapport with her staff, building a strong team who can rely on each other.
“Through our teamwork, we are able to provide our members with the best possible care that we can,” says Mariah.
“I absolutely love watching my members learn new skills and work towards becoming more independent each day. After spending time with my members, I am reminded why I love to do this work.”
