Comprehensive Employee Benefits
To The Rescue employees who are hired for 32 or more hours per week have the opportunity to participate in any or all employee benefits. Most of them will begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
- Group health, dental and vision insurance plan eligibility beginning on the first day of the month following a 60-day waiting period from your official start date.
- Voluntary benefits, short-term disability, accident insurance, cancer insurance and flex spending account plan eligibility beginning on the first day of the month following a 60-day waiting period from your official start date.
- The major holidays paid are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
- During your first year of employment, you will accrue 80 hours of paid time off.

Hiring FAQs
For entry level positions, candidates will typically hear back from a member of the talent acquisition team within 24-48 hours. For additional roles, the timeframe will vary to allow time for department managers to review applications.
Candidates need only submit one application. If interested in more than one position, multiple roles will be discussed during the screening process.
For all roles, initial screening is conducted over the phone. For candidates selected to move forward in the process an in-person interview will be scheduled.
All candidates will have the opportunity to meet with a hiring manager. You will receive a follow up call from a member of the hiring team within 24-48 hours regarding next steps.

Amanda, Human Services Supervisor
Amanda has been a human services supervisor with To The Rescue for four years. Amanda has found fulfillment in her role of leading a staff dedicated to the well-being of our members. Amanda has always wanted to help people. “I am able to do that for not only my staff, but our members as well.” Amanda enjoys assisting members with daily tasks, learning new skills, and advocating for them when they are not able to advocate for themselves.

“I’ve had many varied positions during my career, but my time as a driver for To The Rescue has been by far the most rewarding. I work with a group of awesome, talented and dedicated professionals. Every day is different, and every day brings something to laugh about. I try to make a difference on the lives of our heroes and clients, and every day they have a positive impact on me.”
Mariah, CNA, Home Health Aide
Mariah started with To The Rescue as a human services supervisor. She now serves as a home health aide. Visiting six houses per week, and assisting eight clients per day, Mariah keeps busy helping clients with daily self-care. “Caring for our members gives me purpose. Our staff whole-heartedly cares for our members, and for each other. I love working with my staff. They offer me the flexibility I need, as well as ongoing support. We trust each other, which makes me feel valued and supported.”
Tia, Direct Support Professional
Tai joined To The Rescue to work with purpose. As a direct Sspport professional, Tai assists those with disabilities to learn new skills, achieve daily tasks, and live their best lives. “I love the members who I get to take care of. Knowing that I’m making a difference is why I love working with To The Rescue.”
